Location Services Terms

These terms set out the rights and obligations between 하늘디지털랩스 ("the Company"), which operates WhichMedi (whichmedi.kr), and users of its location-based services, under the Korean Act on the Protection, Use, etc. of Location Information.

Location is used for: finding clinics and pharmacies near you, showing which are open now, finding nearby emergency rooms, and opening the list for your current district.

These services are free of charge. Mobile data charges from your carrier may apply.

Lists are ordered only by mechanical criteria such as distance, name and opening hours. No clinic or pharmacy is given preferential placement.

Your coordinates, provided by your device's browser, are used only on your device. They are not sent to the Company's systems and are not collected or stored.

Your device works out your district from the coordinates, and our server receives only the district name — the same request as opening a district list page. Distances and sorting are calculated on your device.

The Company does not provide personal location information to third parties, and does not receive location information from mobile carriers or other location information providers.

Because the Company does not collect personal location information, there is no retention period. Coordinates exist only in your device's memory and disappear when you close the page.

Records of use or provision of location information (Article 16(2) of the Act) do not arise for the same reason. If such records arise in the future, they will be kept for six months and then destroyed.

You may withdraw consent at any time, in whole or in part, using the button above or your browser's location settings. You can still browse by region after withdrawing.

You may request access to or notice of records of use of your location information by contacting us at the address below. Where no such records exist, we will tell you so.

Users under 14 should use location features with the consent of a legal guardian. A guardian of a child aged 8 or under (or of certain other protected persons) may consent on their behalf to protect their life or safety.

Clinic and pharmacy information is Korean public data passed on as is and may differ from actual hours. Please check before visiting.

Disputes may be referred to the Korea Communications Commission or the Personal Information Dispute Mediation Committee under Korean law.
